SEOUL, KOREA - Hankook Tire announced on November 17 that it was named as the most valuable tire brand in Korea for six consecutive years.Hankook Tire ranked No. 1 in the Highest Korean Brand of the Year 2014 in tire category.
Within the tire category, Hankook Tire swept top spots in all of the assessment items, including brand preference, reliability index, trend-setting, buying potentials, and innovation index.
Hankook Tire noted that the development of third-generation run-flat tires which it supplied as original equipment tires for Mercedes-Benz C Class and Mini, plus the “Next Driving Lab,” a campaign to introduce innovative ideas to consumers, were highly recognized.
The “Highest Brand” is a management performance certification scheme developed by a brand value assessment specialist Brand Stock.AHankook Tire official said, “We will go all-out to transform ourselves into a global tire brand through strenuous efforts to promote R&D and brand awareness.”
