Seoul Korea - SK Telecom announced on December 15 that it will commercialize LTE roaming through collaboration with China Unicom and plans to provide ultra-high-speed LTE data roaming service throughout the entire regions of China from December 17.
Through this plan, SK Telecom will be able to provide LTE data roaming services in a total of 32 countries, including the top-three destinations for Korean travelers, including the United States and Japan.
In addition, with the year-end holidays approaching, SK Telecom plans to launch a special promotional event "Together with One Pass during Year-end Holidays, One Pass Holiday!" until January 11, 2015.
During the event period, SK Telecom plans to provide a variety of gifts through drawing lots to those who subscribe to the T roaming unlimited data service which can be used at the expense of 9,000 won a day, or share the contents of the event through social networking services.
