
"Global Fair & Festival 2009 Incheon Korea" opens on Aug. 7 for a 80-day show where visitors can take a look at the world's top-class ubiquitous facilities.
The world's largest ubiquitous event opens in Incheon under the theme "Lightening Tomorrow," with the participation of about 500 cities and 1,300 enterprises from 100 countries around the world.
In addition, international environmental conferences will also be held on the sidelines, including the global environment forum to be held on Aug. 11-12 with the attendance of dignitaries such as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Especially, the City of Incheon will introduce "Smart City," a knowledge-based industrial city equipped with state-of-the-art information and communication infrastructure, to the participants of the Asian-Pacific City Summit (APCS) to be held in September.
