Samsung Electronics plans to release Galaxy A7 within this month. The Galaxy A7 is known to have the slimmest width among Galaxy models.
According to industry sources on January 13, the Galaxy A7, a follow-up model of the Galaxy A series, will be released in emerging markets, including China and India, within this month.
The Galaxy A7 is the latest model in the Galaxy A series which Samsung Electronics developed targeting the low- and mid-range smartphone market. Previously, Galaxy A3 and A5 had been released in China, Taiwan and India.
The Galaxy A7 has the thickness of 6.3mm, the thinnest among smartphones developed by Samsung Electronics. This model is 0.4mm thinner than the existing ultra-thin models Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy A5 (6.7mm).
