Female duo DAVICHI announced their comeback with the release of their new album’s jacket photo.
On the 13th, CJ E&M revealed a photo which portrayed Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung hugging each other with their eyes closed. It implies the meaning of hugging people with their music just like their album title <DAVICHI HUG>.
This is their first album after six months since the duo released an original sound track for drama <It’s Okay, That’s Love> in July, 2014 when they made an agency transfer. It has been reported that huge amount of efforts are put in the upcoming album <DAVICHI ALBUM>. For the first time after their debut, the group took jacket photo and M/V in Hungary which demonstrates the duo’s upgraded visuals and musical changes.
The group announced their comeback on January 5th with a hand-written letter which read “We only focused on our music. We’ll hug you with music.” The agency also stated “We’ve invested the largest number of resources and man power compared to their previous works. So, we will present more sophisticated music with larger scale”
Meanwhile, DAVICHI consists of members Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung who debut in 2008. The duo has became the leading female duo in K-pop and released many hits including ‘I Love You Even Though I Hate You’, ’8282′, and ‘Letter’.
