The classical violinist, Laurent Korcia, renowned for his distinctive and varied music, is making a comeback in South Korea for the first time in 3 years, after 2012, 2011 and 2010 concerts. “2015 Laurent Korcia Concert in Korea” (hosted by BS Entertainment) will be held on the 6th February 2015 at Busan BEXCO Auditorium, and 8th February 2015 at Seoul Arts Centre, Concert Hall, where Laurent Korcia will be playing with the top-class artists, Ae-Young Byun, pianist and Elodie Soulard, accordionist.
Laurent Korcia studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with Michèle Auclair. He also received Grand Prizes and Grand Prix at many international occasions, getting the title “Violinist on Fire” with his brilliant skills. He not only understands Classical music, but also plays them expressively and skilfully. On top of that, he is one of the few artists who are capable of a variety of musical genres, ranging from Bach to contemporary music, such as the theme song for Mission Impossible and Cinema Paradiso. With such programs, he delivers the essences of the violin music and at the same time interacts with the audience, bringing himself and top-class music closer.
His talent has been recognized by one of the world’s most acknowledged group, LVMH Louis Vuitton-Moët-Hennesey, and has been sponsored to play the violin Zahn of Stradivarius (1719), valued around 2 Million USD.
Also, the official importers of Steinway & Sons piano, Cosmos Coporation, will sponsor a Steinways & Sons grand piano, valued over USD 250,000, to be played at the events.
