
LG Electronics plans to release its strategic smartphone G Flex 2 in the domestic market on January 30.The G Flex 2, which made its debut at the CES 2015, is mounted with Qualcomm’s SnapDragon 810 processor and supports 3-band LTE-A service.
LG Electronics will reveal this model first in Korea through a media day event scheduled to be held on January 22. The 3-band LTE-A is four times faster than existing LTE since the former binds three different broadband frequencies.
The 3-band LTE-A has a download speed of 300 Mbps, taking only 23 seconds to download a 1-GB movie.With a 64-bit Octa-core CPU, the G Flex 2 ensures smooth operation of applications which require multi-tasking and high specs.
Previously at the CES 2015, the G Flex 2 was selected as the editors’ choice by the Reviewed.com, a subsidiary of the largest U.S. daily USA Today. The G Flex 2 is a follow-up model of the G Flex which was released in November 2013.
