
Ssangyong Motor is smiling as its brand-new gasoline model Tivoli is enjoying a huge influx of pre-orders. Ssangyong officials said on January 19, "Tivoli pre-orders have already passed the 4,500 mark until last weekend."
Ssangyong received 700 more pre-orders in just four days after the new car presentation event which was held on January 13 when Tivoli pre-orders stood at 3,800 units.
On the single day of January 19, more than 500 pre-orders were received into Ssangyong's 230 show rooms nationwide. At the new car presentation event, Ssangyong Motor revealed its sales target for the Tivoli, setting its export target at 35,000 units and domestic sales target at 25,000.
The company expects the annual sales of Tivoli to rise to the 100,000 level at the end of next year. Following the launch of the gasoline model, the carmaker plans to release a diesel model within June 2015.
