Samsung Electronics released a brand-new outdoor wireless LAN AP (Access Point, WEA 453e) for business customers. The newly-developed outdoor AP provides wireless LAN service in outdoor areas.
With the launch of outdoor AP, Samsung Electronics can establish a full AP lineup, including nine different kinds of indoor APs, including a security AP. AP is a device that enables Wi-Fi by being connected with a fixed LAN. AP is useful for businesses who need to offer wireless LAN service in outdoors.
WEA453e acquired the IP67 certificate that proves that it complies with the water-and vibration-proof standard IES-529.
The IP67 certificate proves that WEA453e is protected from dusts and is safe even when it is in 1 meter-deep waters for about 30 minutes.
With a thin thickness of 58 mm and a light weight of 2.6 kilograms, WEA453e is well designed and can be easily installed.
