When Samsung Electronics released its brand-new smartphones on March 1, it unexpectedly mentioned the difference in performance between Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6.
Based on a strong confidence that it is not falling behind Apple in technological terms, Samsung posed a strong challenge to Apple.
Shin Jong-Kyun, IM division president at Samsung Electronics, said during the Galaxy unpack event held on March 1, “I know that Galaxy S6 is not bendable.”
Instead of using Snap Dragon 805 2.5-GHz Quadcore processor, the one used for the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S6 uses 14-nm class 64-bit mobile AP, first among smartphones,to enhance processing speed.
When it comes to camera function, the Galaxy S6 is far superior to the iPhone 6. The Galaxy S6 has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, making it possible to take clear photos even in darkness.
The iPhone 6 has an 8-mega pixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera. In addition, the Galaxy S6 also employs a 577-ppi 5.1-type Quad HD Super AMOLED display, proving that Samsung is superior to Apple in display quality.
