On April 9th, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced its launching plan of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge while holding ‘Galaxy S6 World Tour Seoul’ event at the multi-purpose auditorium of its company building in Seocho-dong, Seoul Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge has the best mobile specifications with harmonious design of metal and glass, which has attracted attention of media and customers across the world after Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015) was held in Barcelona, Spain in March.
It is expected that Samsung will start to sell Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge on April 10 in Korea as well as twenty other countries including the U.S., Britain, Germany, France and Australia, expanding gradually its coverage.
In Korea, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be launched through three domestic mobile carriers, and the factory price of the former varies from 85,800 KRW (32GB) to 924,000 KRW (64GB) and that of the latter from 979,000 KRW (32GB) to 1,056,000 KRW (64GB).
“We can show ‘All New Galaxy’ to the consumers after repeated and full-hearted consideration of what they really want,” said Shin Jong-kyun, Head of the IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung, “Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are the products which we made the utmost efforts to let the users feel S6’s new values.”
In tandem with the final event of the world tour, Samsung Electronics released the video of Galaxy S6 edge In-boxing through Samsung Tomorrow, its official global blog, where you can find the whole process of making and packaging Galaxy S6 edge.
Meanwhile, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge have various colors like blue topaz for Galaxy S6 and green emerald for Galaxy S6 edge has the color of green emerald other than those common colors including white pearl, black sapphire and gold platinum.
