The 3 countries of Korea, China, and Japan are creating a joint market to share information in order to prevent power plant accidents. Each of the countries has experienced accidents with power plants in their own lands.
A spokesperson planned a meeting on the 27th and 28th in Seoul where leaders of the joint market from each country will come to talk about their situation but it was changed to the 26th.
The accidents had a frustrating effect but this meeting will cover the accidents and damages created and the harmful effects they have towards the company. A major topic will be an efficient way to prepare for these situations. Also, these leaders are sharing information with safety teams to make plans ahead of time. These 3 countries must create a basis to be prepared and to practice techniques in the event of another accident.
Kang Young-chul, Chief of Korea's Power Engineering Company, said, “Keeping these three countries mutuality assisting each other and helping maintain companies' stability and security as well as the other countries of southeast Asia is important. The primary purpose of the company’s plan to develop power plants is to keep spreading the nation and the company’s stability regulation techniques.”
Safety regulation members from Korea, China, and Japan had a meeting in a northeast location in which they talked about concerns about the increasing number of electric power plants, the original source for adaptation for earthquakes, the increased fear of dry weather, and the security of the power companies within the 3 countries. Last year a meeting was held in Japan, and was host to the electric industry's announcement of a drought association counter plan to inform and prepare the public.
