Dvelopment of IPTV is on a roll. As of now we can watch IPTV without a set-top box or extra devices. LG Electronics (CEO Nam-Yong) and LG Dacom announced that they launched 9 models of All-in-one X-Canvas myLGtv on August 31, 2009. The new product lines consist of a total of 4 series and 9 new products. The two new LCD models are the 55/47LH85ZD and the 55/47/42LH55ZD. The two PDP TV models are the 60/50PS85ED, 50/42PQ30RD. The all-in-one X-Canvas myLGtv has many distinctive features.
It has an Invisible Speaker, which provides an optimum stereophonic sound through the whole screen. Its Clear Voice 2 enables small voice to be heard better. The IQ Green protects eyesight and saves energy. Smart Energy Saving Plus helps to save a maximum of 70% of electric power.
Marketing Executive Director Lee Woo-Kyoung of LG Electronics said, “This is the only product that has TV’s advantages and IPTV’s services. It is also very suitable for a person who wants to get wide screen, high-definition video and to enjoy a variety of features at the same time.
