Ssangyong Motor added the Tivoli Diesel to its product lineups on July 6. With a Euro 6 e-XDi600 diesel engine, the Tivoli Diesel features a maximum output of 115 horsepower and a maximum torque of 30.6 kg.m.
Its compound fuel efficiency is 15.3 kilometers per liter (based on 2WD automatic transmission). The maximum torque is realized when the engine rotates at an engine speed of 1,500-2,500 rpm. The Tivoli Diesel has an AISIN six-speed automatic transmission.
Together with the diesel model, Ssangyong Motor also launches the sales of a gasoline 4WD model. The 4WD model adopts a smart 4WD system which divides front and rear wheel drive by 0-50 percent depending on road and driving conditions.
Retail prices for diesel models are 20.45 million won for the Diesel TX, 22.85 million won for the VX, and 24.95 million won for the LX, while those for gasoline models are 17.95 million won for the TX, 19.95 million won for the VX, and 22.35-23.47 million won for the LX.
