Samsung Electronics is releasing a VVIP phone (SCH-W910), another member of the AMOLED family. Samsung is trying to capture current trends and styles and will release other phones that will attract customers aged 40-50. These phones include the NOMU (No More Uncle), Refresh, Uncommon, Beautiful, and Youthful Ruby brands. They will feature a gold as well as black color scheme and a 2.6 inch WQVGA AMOLED screen, a simple 2X3 main menu screen, alarm, short dial system, and a FM radio hotkey.
This phone is designed for people with lots of social networks; you are able to see how often you call certain people and be able to save up to 5,000 or 25,000 phone numbers. A Samsung Electronics representative said, "We are trying to build a diverse AMOLED lineup of products that cover all types of customers. For these customers, we are featuring an amazing AMOLED display so the customer can enjoy his cell phone experience."
