A South Korean business delegation from Gangnam District Government will visit Qatar from February 3 to 5.
The delegation, led by Gangnam District Government deputy mayor Young-bok Choi, will comprise of some 11 small and medium-sized companies, the South Korean embassy in Doha said.
The South Korean companies in the delegation deal with building materials, IT solutions and software, light emitting diodes (LEDs) and signboard, cosmetics and beauty products, health supplements and anti-adhesive products.
During the delegation’s visit to Qatar, the Gangnam District will sign sister city agreements with Al Khor and Al Dhakhira municipalities, paving the way for enhanced bilateral cooperation between them in various fields.
In connection with the delegation’s visit, the South Korean embassy will organise business meetings at the Ramada on February 4. The event will be held in association with Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI).
