Apple CEO Tim Cook has unveiled the newest iPhone models, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
The latest iPhones look similar to their predecessors. However, they have the new features include 3D Touch and a second generation Touch ID sensor. And the most significant changes are a 12-megapixel camera, an upgrade feature from the 8-megapixel camera in prior generation Phone. The smartphone also features video in the ultra-high-definition 4k format.
Prices for the iPhone 6S start from $199 to $399 depending upon storage capacity. You can get 16 GB of storage for $199, 64 GB for $299 and 128 for $399.
Prices for the iPhone 6S plus start from $299 to $499 depending upon storage capacity. You can also get 16 GB of storage for $299, 64 GB for $399 and 128 for $499.
The new phones go on sale for pre-orders on Saturday, and will begin shipping on September 25.
The iPhone 6S includes a new "3D Touch" feature
3D Touch is a force-touch technology that allows users to use shortcuts off the home screen as well as inside apps. For example, when you slightly press on an email message, it brings up a preview and when you press harder, it brings up the email message in a full-screen.
