
Samsung Electronics’ 65-inch SUHD TV (JS9500) got the highest score among about 80 TV models by American consumer magazine Consumer Reports.
In its Internet edition for November, released on October 5, Consumer Reports introduced how to pick the right TV in its special feature article titled “Have Fun with TV” and released the ranking of TVs by size.
Samsung Electronics’ 65-inch SUHD TV was positioned at the top in overall ranking with 81 scores. In the categories of HD quality, UHD performance and sound quality, Samsung 65-inch SUHD TV was given the excellent grade.
In the category of over 60-inch large-screen TV, Sony’s Bravia 65-inch model ranked No. 2 with 79 points. In the 55-59-inch category, LG Electronics’ 55-inch Ultra HD OLED TV (55EG9600) achieved 78 points, ranking No. 1 in this category. It earned good reviews in light of viewing angle and image quality.
In the most popular 46-52-inch category, Samsung’s 48-inch TV (J6300) topped with 74 points. In this category, Samsung models swept the No. 1-6 spots.
