
DataStreams, a leading Korean provider of data integration and big data analytics platforms, took part in the ‘Strata+Hadoop World New York 2015, held September 29 through October 1 at the Javits Center in New York.
DataStreams, the only Korean exhibitor at the Strata+Hadoop World New York 2015, set up a stand-alone booth to showcase its TeraStream BASS (a real-time big data processing platform), Hadoop-based big data processing platforms, data governance technologies and products (designed to ensure sustainable data-based innovation).
Presented by leading technical publisher O'Reilly Media and big data company Cloudera, Strata + Hadoop World is the world’s largest big data conference, attended by over 3,000 big data experts and engineers from various sectors. The Strata + Hadoop World is held on a rotating basis in London, San Hose, New York, Singapore, etc.
A great number of major global companies, including Cloudera,, Hortonworks, MapR, Oracle, SAP, SAS, Platfora, Informatica, Google and Microsoft, partook in the ‘Strata+Hadoop World New York 2015. DataStreams was the only Asian big data company to set up a stand-alone booth at the conference event hall. Its TeraStream BASS and related technologies drew great attention from visitors.

The highlights of the DataStreams booth were TeraStream BASS and graphical user interface (GUI) environments. Offering the industry's widest bandwidth support (10~15 Gbps) in line with the “Internet of Things” trend, TeraStream BASS collect large amounts of data in real time and uses in-memory indexing technology in processing them.
DataStreams is set to continue its efforts to break into the global market. In particular, building on experience gained from participating in the ‘Strata+Hadoop World New York 2015, DataStreams plans to vigorously take part in other big data conferences and seminars in the US, with a view to raising its brand awareness and gaining ground in the world’s largest IT market.
