Apple will launch the sales of its brand-new smartphone iPhone 6s in Korea from October 23.
Apple said through its website that it would release iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in Korea from October 23.
The iPhone 6s series will be released through Korea's three major telecom companies including SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+, with the preorder sales scheduled to begin from October 16.
The retail price of the iPhone 6s series is set at a level slightly higher than that of iPhone 6 series. The price of iPhone 6s is 920,000 won for the 16-GB model, 1.06 million won for the 64-GB model, and 1.2 million won for the 128-GB model.
The prices of iPhone 6s Plus are 1.06 million won for the 16-GB model, 1.2 million won for the 64-GB model, and 1.34 million won for the 128-GB model. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus both will be available in silver, gold, space grey, and rose gold.
