Korea Development Bank said Sunday it completed project financing consulting worth $386 million for Malaysia's ferro alloy plant project which the world's eighth largest industrial furnace local firm SAC won a contract to supply.
The construction process, which began in 2012, currently saw a 95 percent completion. A European bank was supposed to have financial consulting for the project but its financial procurement was being delayed.
KDB was handed over with this project in February to serve as a coordinating bank and has been leading project financing in partnership with Korea Trade Insurance Corporation.
KDB already had an experience of financial consulting for Turkey Kirikkale's combined cycle power plant valued at $400 billion.
