General Motors (GM) has selected LG Electronics as a key supplier of electric-vehicle parts for the full-electric Chevrolet Bolt EV, LG Electronics said on October 21.
GM has chosen tech company LG over existing suppliers of auto parts for the development of the upcoming Chevrolet Bolt EV. Through the partnership, LG will supply with batteries and other key components (e.g. the infotainment system) for the Chevrolet Bolt EV.
To offer consumers an affordably-priced EV that can run around 320 kilometers on a single charge, GM and LG have agreed to join forces in developing the Chevrolet Bolt EV.
LG will supply powertrain parts and 11 systems to the Chevrolet Bolt EV.
