The construction of Sichuan Glovis Consolidation Center (CC), expected to play a pivotal role in the global production of commercial vehicles, has been completed, according to Hyundai Glovis, one of South Korea's leading automotive logistics service provider.
Located in Ziyang, Sichuan province, Sichuan Glovis CC covers a total land area of 191,300 square meters and has two auto parts warehouse buildings.
Its operational facility area, including two logistics center buildings and various other facilities, is 123,400 square meters, more than 17 times bigger than a soccer field (7,140 square meters).
It is the largest among auto parts CCs run by Hyundai Glovis in and outside S. Korea. A total of 36 billion won, including construction costs and facility and equipment installation costs, was invested in the largest CC in Sichuan province.
