Samsung Electronics is showing off its new premier enterprise solutions at Oracle OpenWorld 2015, scheduled for October 26-29 in San Francisco.
In collaboration with Oracle, Samsung Electronics is also displaying the new Cordova plug-in for Samsung developers at Oracle OpenWorld, a web-based app development tool that makes enterprise app development easier by integrating into Oracle’s developer tools, while granting access to Samsung’s unique hardware features such as multi-window and S Pen.
Enterprise solutions presented by Samsung at Oracle OpenWorld 2015 include solutions from systems integrators such as HCL and AuraPlayer, which will be displayed on a range of devices including the Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy Tab A. HCL’s predictive maintenance analytics solution allows the management of machinery and heavy equipment that typically created a backlog of paper files. AuraPlayer’s collision reporting system enables rapid entry of critical incidents so that transportation authorities can take immediate action.
Samsung will also introduce several use cases of wearables, expected to bring the next generation of innovation to enterprise solutions. The Australian Agricultural Company (AACo), Australia's largest beef producer, teamed up with Australian business solutions provider Rinami to create a wearable app that improves livestock management.
Instead of carrying cumbersome laptops and field notebooks, ranchers are able to collect data, interpret in the field and make actionable decisions through their mobile device app to increase production. The wearable app will be demoed on the Samsung Gear S2.
Also on display is the Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program (SEAP), Samsung’s official enterprise mobility partnership program. SEAP helps a wide range of global enterprise partners and developers provide their business customers with more efficient solutions built on Samsung mobile devices.
