Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors announced that they will hold the “2015 Hyundai/Kia Powertrain Conference” at Hwaseong in the south of Seoul on October 27-28 this year.
Under the theme of “Contribution for Future Generation: Going Beyond the Limit of Powertrain Technologies,” the conference will be attended by about 1,100 participants from a score of global companies such as Bosch, Continental, Delphi, Denso, and Magna Powertrain, plus a number of dignitaries form domestic and international academic institutions, and industry associations and research organizations.
At the conference, a variety of new technologies will be displayed. In addition, 56-themed presentations and seminars in six categories such as gasoline, diesel engine innovation technologies, fuel efficiency technologies, post-emission processing technologies, new power transmission technologies, and eco-friendly vehicle innovation technologies, will be made during the conference.
Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors will also unveil the “front-wheel 8-speed automatic transmission” and the “high fuel-efficiency, high-capacity Kapa 1.6-liter GDI engine.”
