There is no doubt that we now live in a world that is being united by the ability of people to find and share whatever they want to from thousands of different fields of study.  Among these fields of study, electronics might be the one that gives the most opportunities to the most people in the most effective way.  Many people from all over the world come to Asia to find these electronics-related opportunities.  The Asia Electronics Exhibition in Shanghai (AEES) 2009 is the sixth gathering of people like this - the largest annual electronics show in Asia.

AEES 2009 has opened today at Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China with the catch phrase "Asia Leads the Digital Future!" The Korea Electronics Association (KEA) is participating in this event along with four other major Asian electronics organizations - the China Electronic Appliance Corporation (CEAC), Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

More than 60,000 visitors to AEES 2009 will have a first-hand look at various interesting products and technologies at Hall W1.  There, a total of 68 booths from 45 Korean electronics companies are located, placed right at the entrance of the Shanghai New International Expo Center. They are displaying multimedia and digital appliances such as PDP displays, Digital Cameras, TVs, DVDs, CD players and MP3 players.  Upgraded home appliances such as air conditioners will also steal people's attention alongside healthcare products such as bath saunas and oxygen generators. Computer and communication products such as PCs, HDDs, Netbooks, USB memory sticks, Bluetooth devices, and cellular phones are also another big exciting sector for visitors. Equipment for measuring, testing, manufacturing, and security as well as industrial electronics semiconductors will also contribute significantly to Korea's cutting edge technology spread that visitors and buyers can see.

All these exciting technologies will get a lot of air time from Korea's major broadcasting networks such as KBS, the Electronics Newspaper, the Digital Times and the Korea IT Times as well as major Chinese broadcasting networks such as CCTV, Shanghai Oriental TV, and Shanghai Newspaper. The show attract peoples' attention with a lot of exciting sideline events and forums scheduled during this period as well. Many special performances will be performed everyday during this period from exhibitions of Korean Taekwondo, Korean traditional Janggo dancing, and Korean traditional percussion instrument performances contributed by Yongin University. Trendy dances will also be performed by Step Girl from Korea with the songs of Korean famous girl bands - Wonder Girls and Girl's Generation.

Advice to exhibitors on suitable B2B and B2C investments will also provided by the AEES 2009 Organizing Committee in order to promote exports and strengthen participants' brand images. As it is Asia's biggest digital information exchange, a variety of business programs, seminars, conferences, sales fairs and export consultations will be available for potential buyers from all over the world.  Dozens of colleges, universities, local communities and social organizations in Shanghai are cooperating with the show to make it the most valuable event of the year.
