After a month of Netflix, a global provider of streaming movies and TV series, started its service in the Korean market, there are still mixed views among the local users.

Here are some reasons why the video sharing giant with over 57 million subscribers is struggling here.

Netflix has launched its service in the local market with a big expectation as if it would bring something huge technology along with its business success story. Many users who are not hesitant to use paid services waited long for the service to launch.

However, the quality of the picture for the premium services is not satisfactory, according to industry watchers. Its simple and light function also causes a problem. As the video controller does not support gesture function, users have to touch the bar to move their fingers forward and backward constantly.

There are also good sides too like users can see from the last part of the video in any devices. Also, compared to local video sharing giant service Olleh TV, users do not have to pay extra service subscription fees and the video is clean without any commercials.
