Design
Unlike the previous other TVs such as Samsung, the 55EC930T's futuristic razor-thin design will appeal to many TV shoppers. Smart TV functions
The 55EC930T has LG’s Web OS system, which offers a simple design with a high-end smart technology. Its interface offers very colorful layout. Pressing the Home button on the remote controller brings a band of diagonal cards on the bottom. You can also customize the band to use your favorite apps.

LG’s Web OS offers very novel functions. Click to the left of the main band, it appears the ‘Past’, a history of the last few apps. On the other hand, the right of the band allows you to see the ‘Future’, functions you can launch to the main band. In the LG Store, you can even see many other smaller apps.
In case of LG’s Web browser comparing to Samsung’s, it is not so polished but offers motion remote eases navigation and typing with the onscreen keyboard. Voice search is accurate enough but seems to default to opening the browser too often.
Remote controller
The motion-control aspect, the 55EC930T’s remote controller allows you to move a cursor around the screen like a Nintendo Wii game controller. The ‘select/OK’ action, the most commonly used function, might be annoying you a lot because you have to press down on the scroll wheel every time you want to use this function.
