
Korean construction IT solution provider DoallTech has joined hands with Kajima Corporation, a Japanese construction company, to enter the global construction IT market.
On April 11, The Nikkei (formally known as The Nihon Keizai Shimbun) reported that Kajima had purchased a 5 percent stake in DoallTech for 150 million won.
The newspaper said: “Kajima bought a 5 percent stake in DoallTech, a Korean firm specializing in 3D modeling and virtual construction management, in a bid to take over the Korean company over the next three years.”
DoallTech , saying that “It is true that we signed an agreement to transfer a 5 percent stake to Kajima."

Founded in 2000, DoallTech is regarded as a leading company in the Korean BIM field. It has been grafting its BIM technology onto skyscraper projects in 25 countries, including Japan, the US, the UK and Australia. Furthermore, DoallTech sets itself apart from others in the areas of PMIS (Project Management Information System) and RFID.
The Nikkei reported: “BIM leader Kajima has been applying its BIM technology to nearly 800 construction sites. Its acquisition of a 5 percent stake in DoallTech will help take Kajima’s design and construction capabilities to new heights.”
