On April 11, CJ Group chairman Sohn Kyung-shik and Wang Xiankui, secretary of China’s Heilongjiang province,
met at the CJ E&M headquarters in northwestern Seoul to discuss ways to expand their cultural and economic exchanges.
Wang Xiankui and his entourage took a tour of the Creative Center for Convergence Culture located in the CJ E&M headquarters and had the opportunity to experience CJ Group’s culture contents, such as 4DX video content.
During the meeting, CJ Group’s management gave Wang Xiankui a summary of its business in China and they talked about ways to ramp up cultural and economic exchanges.
Wang said, “CJ Group has great strengths in the culture business sector and is actively doing business in China. I am looking forward to seeing CJ’s brick investment activities in Heilongjiang province in the future.”
In response, Chairman Sohn Kyung-shik asked Wang Xiankui to support CJ’s endeavors to become a beloved company in China.
CJ Group broke into the Chinese market in 1994. Since then, the group has been running operations in four sectors – food and food service, biotechnology, new logistics and entertainment & media.
