You probably don't have a virtual reality headset yet but don't worry, you still can experience 360 degree multimedia through the LG G5's 360 Wallpaper feature.
The 360 Wallpaper feature gives users a glimpse into the joy of having virtual reality with 360-degree imagery on your smartphone and is free to download from the LG SmartWorld.
When you are installing the 360 Wallpaper feature onto your LG G5 and you will be choosing which wallpaper to adorn your smartphone. When you move it left or right or you swipe through your display, you’ll see the wallpaper takes on a life of its own, similar to the experience one would see in a virtual reality. These photos can also be viewed in Cinematic View while the LG 360 CAM captures spherical photos. You can upload the wallpapers to Google Street View.
LG G5 users will have free access to wallpapers taken by professional photographers, including breathtaking scenery of nature and famous cities around the world. Initially 12 photographs will be available on LG SmartWorld with four new images added each month from May to November.
The professionally photographed images will be available between April and November in all 69 countries where LG SmartWorld is available. Four new photos will be added to the collection every month.
