
Korea's tech giants Samsung and LG are currently showcasing their technical products at the World IT Show, one of the most famous IT trade fair which kicked off in Seoul on Tuesday.
The two tech giants have been rolling out a variety of state-of-the-art IT products including smartphones and TVs.
Samsung Electronics is set to display a range of IT products including its latest smartphone Galaxy S7 series, virtual reality camera Gear 360, and headset Gear VR.
The Virtual reality camera Gear 360, Samsung released it earlier this year and the headset Gear VR, samsung joined in partnership with Facebook last year.
A full range of Samsung’s other smart products, including SUHD TV which is armed with the quantum dot display, and serif TV which was developed in collaboration with a globally famous furniture designer, will also catch the eyes of visitors.
LG showcases its premium home appliance lineup, dubbed the Signature, consisting of organic light-emitting diode TVs, a washing machine. LG rolled out a range of products, called Friends, earlier this year. The Friends includes a VR headset, a 360-camera, a rolling robot and a mini drone.
Samsung prepared various events to allow visitors to experience its ultra-light-weight laptop computer Samsung Notebook 9 Metal. At the Galaxy S7 experience zone, visitors can experience its camera functionality which promises clear image even in a low light environment.
The company also set up a VR device experience zone where visitors can use Gear 360 to take full 360-degree pictures and video. Through the Gear VR, visitors can experience Everland theme park’s newly introduced Panda World in a VR format.
More than 400 companies including SK Telecom, KT, KIA Motors and Qualcomm are participating in the show, which will be held until Friday.
