On December 18, Samsung Electronics is launching smart phones through SK Telecom in Korea. Samsung has already introduced the online application store in major European countries including UK, France, Italy, etc. Then on September, providing more than 800 applications.
‘Samsung Application Store’ will be run as a part of SKT’s T store providing various applications such as ‘Diet Dance’, ‘Brain Puzzle’, Oxford dictionary, Tarot card reading, and many more. Consumers will be able to download applications through the wireless network in next January. Also, for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver the Omnia 2, will be the official cellphone. So that individuals can view game schedules, results, events, and other Olympic information through 'WOW (Wireless Olympic Works)' application. More major games like ‘Sim City’, ‘Monopoly’, and ‘Ferrari GT’ are planned to be added in February to expand the applications.
