On December 23, KOTRA (President: Cho Hwan-eik) and Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) concluded the contracts on export of satellite photographs that comes from Korea Multipurpose Satellite-2 (Arirang-2).
KOTRA announced that they will support the market research, strategic marketing and contract contracting by Korea Business Center which is made for export of Satellite technology such as the direct reception base station, assembly facility and photographing data as well as satellite photograph of Arirang-2.
Lee Joo-jin, President of KARI said, "We want to contribute the economic development of nation from the commercial business of research result that comes from space development business by government and the overseas market advance."
