On December 24, 2009 Seoul, Korea - Merck Serono Division of Merck Ltd. Korea, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company in the local growth hormone market, held on December 24 a small but valuable event to visit children patients hospitalized at Severance Children's Hospital in Seoul with an aim to make their Christmas Eve very special.
This program was designed to help children patients and their parents to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere even at the hospital.
Thanks to this program, children spent a good time enjoying to the fullest. They hung their wish cards to a tree and made a photo frame using photos taken together with character puppets and Santa Clause. They were also given an opportunity to more familiarize themselves to hospital life through various experiences and activities including face painting, magic shows and juggling.
Some children patients with limited mobility were directly visited by character puppets and had a chance to take polaroids together. The event which lasted about one hour from 2:00 pm was attended by all of the team responsible for sales of Saizen, the growth hormone, at the Division.
