It was morning assembly at a middle school.
The principal stepped up to the podium to introduce a new teacher.
The students weren’t interested in listening to the principal; the din of the students began.
The principal watched the scene, and seeming to think for a moment, opened his mouth.
"Our new teacher here has only one left arm."
At that moment, in surprise, the students suddenly quieted.
The eyes and ears of the students were directed at the podium.
Then, the principal smiled broadly,
And after a deep breath, he started to speak again.
"Ah, of course he has only one right arm, as well.”
