
A Hi-Tech Awards ceremony was held at the Army Hall in Seoul on Dec. 29 and 12 opinion leaders in the IT industry were given awards.
In the Hi-Tech Awards category, Park Yu-sung, president of M2 Soft, won the outstanding management award; Whang Jin-sam, president of VIAKO, won the outstanding technology award; Kim Byung-du, president of PTC KORES, won the outstanding global enterprise award; Seogwipo city hall, won the outstanding intellectual property rights protection award.
M2 Soft's President Park stated, "I'd like to thank all my staff for their dedication to M2 Soft and their full support to me. I want to share my happiness with my own staff and those in the Korean IT industry." He Also, went on to say, "I will also do my best to contribute for Korean IT industry so that people can take pride in Korea's cutting-edge technology in the global market."
Meanwhile, the Hi-Tech Awards were first launched in March of 1996, and have been held to reward leaders in every sector of the Korean IT industry.
