It seems that it is only a matter of time before iPhone users doubt about their purchase since most of them are unable to change their phone or get a replacement. In other words, KT ran out of their supply of, iPhone that it is unable to replace or provide after service (AS) to the, iPhone customers who want to get their phone changed. According to KT and iPhone users on January third, KT and its' branch retail stores were unable to replace their customers the, iPhone because the number of, iPhones were down to their bottom from the 26th of last month. Since the customers requesting for refurbished, iPhones outnumber the actual number of, iPhones imported into Korea, KT retail store officials are asking its' iPhone customers to use a temporary phone until more refurbished iPhones arrive.
One of the iPhone users said that it does not make sense for the new phone to be at bedrock only a little after a month since it became available and continued complaining about how his, iPhone had a problem with sending and receiving calls only one day after his purchase. One of the KT officials replied that their primary supply of, iPhones from Apple was approximately 250,000 and its' refurbished phones were five percent of its' primary supplies that amount to 12,000. Thus, it is quite comprehensible that refurbished, iPhones have been exhausted only after a month since its sales in Korea. The secondary supply of around 200,000 iPhones will come into Korea by the second week of this month, but it will take a week for the phones to arrive at KT retail stores because they have to go through Korea Communications Commission to get tested and be verified.
Thus, iPhone customers on the waiting list to have their phone replaced will have to wait until the mid-week of this month. KT officials respond that it is true that their supply of, iPhones have run out, but only 10 to 20 percent of retail stores are unable to replace former, iPhones into refurbished ones and beginning from the second week of this month KT will be able to respond actively to their customers' needs to have their, iPhones replaced.
