Samsung

Human creativity is growing fast and steady for example, do you remember the movie Minority Report and Tom Cruise character is using a transparent touch screen. Well that future is not far off because Samsung says, "This 14-inch screen is the world's first and largest transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel prototype. The technology is still very much in the research stage, but this panel shows the possibilities."

Samsung is at the forefront in adopting the OLED technology it is not surprising to see that Samsung will be bringing OLED equipped laptops next year. At the ongoing IFA expo, Samsung's Kyu Uhm confirmed that OLED laptops will come by the end of 2010.

This concept design from Samsung the screen is transparent, allowing 40 percent of the light to go through. The translucent OLED screen has a resolution less than a 1000 wide and less than 600 tall on this mere 14-inch display.

Two thousand ten will be the time of great promise and evolved economic system that will tap into human creativity and reach limits never seen before.
