Changes in Basware's Executive Team
With continued focus on developing financing services, Basware is establishing the Network and Financing Services business area, in order to find new synergies in the continuous expansion and development of the Basware Network and related value added services.
A new position of Senior Vice President, Network and Financing Services will have responsibility for managing and growing Basware's Network as well as the expansion of Basware's value added services offering, including Basware's financing services.

Basware has the largest e-invoicing network in the world and this is a huge data asset. We believe that integrating value added services including financing services under the same business area leadership as the network will lead to better development of our network, further innovation of data based solutions and services and more effective prioritization and efficient use of resources", says Vesa Tykkyläinen, CEO, Basware Corporation.
Mr. Ad van der Poel has stepped down from his position on the Basware Executive Team as the head of Financing Services and will pursue opportunities outside the company as of March 17, 2017. The position of Senior Vice President, Financing Services will cease to exist.
