(NASDAQ:VRNS), a leading provider of software solutions that protect data from insider threats and cyberattacks, today announced an agreement with immixGroup, an Arrow company that helps technology companies do business with the government. In an effort to align public and private sector IT initiatives, this agreement allows federal, state and local government agencies to purchase Varonis’ innovative data security platform to analyze the behavior of the people and machines that access their data, alert on misbehavior and enforce a least privilege model.
The Department of Defense CyberSecurity FrameWork and other internal insider threat initiatives place an increased importance in knowing where data lives and who has access to it. Varonis is uniquely positioned to help government agencies prevent data breaches and protect intellectual property by organizing their data and monitoring access.
