A high-level official involved in the project said, "Apple is coming up with its new product, with a 9.7-inch display and the launch date will be somewhere in March." Besides the fact that Apple adopted a 9.7-inch display, not much has been publicly revealed about whether the new product is a laptop or a tablet PC.
However, factoring in the display size of the new product and related foreign new reports, people assume that Apple's new product would be a table PC, named "iSlate". In addition, there has been a lot of buzz that Apple's new product would come out with LG Display's LCD and Samsung SDI's battery.
