(NASDAQ:MKSI), a global provider of technologies that enable advanced processes and improve productivity, today announced that it has completed the sale of its Data Analytics Solutions business to Sartorius Stedim Biotech (Euronext Paris:DIM), a leading supplier to the biopharmaceutical industry, for $72.5 million on a cash and debt-free basis.
MKS Data Analytics Solutions is a software business based in Malmö, Sweden that MKS acquired in 2006. The business develops and markets multivariate data analysis and modeling software particularly used by biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and generated revenue of approximately $13 million in 2016.
