
On January 14, at 01:00 pm, KOTRA announced that Cho Hwan-eik, President of KOTRA entrusted lawyer Sin Woong-sik (CEO of SinSin Law Firm) as a legal advisor. Sin Woong-sik will provide legal service advice for oversea constructions.
Sin Woong-sik was entrusted as the legal advisor and served three years as a vice-chairman of JoongAng Construction Arbitration Committee. He was in charge of legal arbitration at International Chamber Commerce (ICC) of Paris and India Commercial Arbitration Board for about a decade. Also, he was part of many construction projects such as harbor construction in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, the construction desalination plants in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and the contruction of a big-waterway in Libya.
Cho Hwan-eik, President of KOTRA said, "Unlike large construction companies small and medium construction companies suffered losses frequently, because they construct overseas constructions by leaning on experience of domestic constructions." Cho Hwan-eik added, "I hope this legal advice service will help small and medium construction companies in promoting overseas construction and plant projects.
