
LG Electronics launched its ultra-thin premium notebook 'X300 Series' during CES 2010 in Las Vegas and was introduced into the Korean market. The X300 Series is featured as world’s thinnest and ultra-light weight notebook computer due to its thickness of 17.6mm and weight of 970g.
It is also adopted slim full flat type, which allows a fixed thickness of its whole body and boasts a collection of refined and elegant design features. The white color resembles a set of jewels. Its sleek and wide 11.6-inch frameless LCD screen with pebble-style keyboard and a borderless touchpad featuring hidden lighting and tactile feedback.
The X300 is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel Menlow platform with up to 2GB memory and a 64GB solid state drive (SSD) instead of a hard disk, which provides faster running speed with higher and faster realization of entertainment content in its system. It also provides noiseless working environment for the user because fans are not installed inside the system.
The X300 also features a Smart ON function, which allows the user to do tasks such as mailing, chatting, listening to music and web searching without booting windows. Its battery is always exchangeable at anytime and anywhere without any data loss. Plus, it comes with a spare 2-cell battery pack, which provides seven hours' of operation.
Meanwhile, LG Electronics is going to boast its marketing strategy from Jan. 18 with the launch of LG X300. The X300 will appeal to users because it is thinner, lighter and more elegant in style.
