South Korea and India will cooperate and develop next-generation technology on aerospace, airline, and software related fields. Through Korea-Indo collaboration, it is expected to procure and foster many people of talent. Along with India's on-going 3G frequency development, they plan to standardize WiBro as their new telecommunication system and seek out to enter the local market.
President Lee Myung-Bak will make a state visit to India on the 24th at the request of President Pratibha Patil of India, in order to strengthen national ties that concern with science and information technology (IT) subject. The two nations signed and exchanged a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that have to do with promoting aerospace technology and the two countries plan to back technology development and cultivate skilled manpower.
