4 river project, situated in the

Chungwadae Sarangchae opened on January 5th and it looks so far so good. Approximately three weeks have passed since the opening but unlike other exhibitions, Sarangchae is still crowded. The reason behind its success comes from the merge between 'IT' and 'Green'.

People love the mixture of taste between high technology and green promotion that is prevalent in this very place. The main theme, domineering the scene of Sarangchae is 'green growth' and the subtheme that supports it is 'IT'.

The exhibition utilizes interactive devices, a combination of digital and analog, giving an innovative and unique experience to visitors. What adds more IT flavors into Sarangchae is that all the exhibition rooms and screens are three-dimensional, so the atmosphere itself motivates live experience from top to bottom. Spectators can measure their carbon emission by blowing into the digital meter situated in the exhibition room and foresee the 4 rivers project via digital screen.

Sarangchae's IT experience does not end there, the spectators can take pictures via using wireless or wired internet in the president's theme room and upload them directly on their website.

Sarangchae, furthermore, is built as an eco-friendly building. It is constructed to radically cut the use of fossil fuel and promote the use of solar energy and geothermal heat.

"Chungwadae Sarangchae gives pride and show the future of South Korea to locals and educate Korea's culture and history to foreigners" said one the Seoul city officials.
