
On January 27, Korea Digital Communications Corporation (KDC) announced that they will open KDC Scan Center, a digitizing documents system, in order to support an establishment of electronic documents management system.
The KDC Scan Center, located in Guro Digital Complex and boasting its 820 spare meters of space, has more than 600 millions of word processing capabilities per year. It provides total service solutions including consultant, building operating, maintenance and management. That deal with overall electric word processing operations, database building business solutions and financing operations for enterprises, research centers and public organizations.
Documents digitization is used to describe the systems that transform all the papers to electronic documents. This allows for word processing operations to make exactly the same document as the original. It is expected to reduce a lot of time and cost as digital operation can be done online
Kim Sang-jin, president of KDC said, "KDC Scan Center will provide us a lot of benefits such as increasing work efficiency, enabling faster processing and improving transparency in management because everything is done based on electronic certified system. Especially, 16 outsourcing offices that will be established soon in domestic market will be connected together through KDC Scan Center."
