According to Outlook Weekly, Chinese news week for politics and economics released seven future challenges between America and China.
The first challenge is the lack of trust between the two countries. America suspects that China will challenge itself for the world’s superpower.
The second challenge is that the two countries have different views for the world. America wants to be the only superpower, but China wants to have many strong countries that cooperate on global issues.
The third, the two countries have different political and economical systems. This will not help to understand each other.
The fourth is their interests for the Asian-Pacific area are clashed. Outlook Weekly stated, “China wants the local countries to deal with their own issues, but America does not allow them to.”
The fifth, they are competing in the field of aerospace and information technology (IT). America leads the way in these two fields, but China seems have other plans for aerospace and IT.
The sixth, America has many interest groups, and China has many various opinions. Sometimes they are too conservative or too liberal; both views are not helpful for Sino-American relations.
The seventh, other countries do not like the fact that these two countries are doing well together. They want them to compete, not to cooperate. Even one country asked America to be a "balancer" for Sino-American relations.
