The MVP quarterback Drew Brees celebrates the team’s first Super Bowl victory in franchise history.

The Saints simply 'ain't' going to let New Orleans, a jazz town that was savaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, down. No. Not after what it went through in the past four years after the disaster. "Four years ago who would ever thought this would happen. Most people in the city moved to different regions, not knowing whether they would come back or even come back to the organization. But we all came back and leaned on each other to rebuild the organization and the city. Thus, it all came down with this," said Drew Brees, the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV with a record setting 32 passing completions for the most completion in Super Bowl history.

Down by a touchdown with less than six minutes remaining, the Colts and its quarterback Peyton Manning seemed almost destine to write another fourth-quarter comeback and the first overtime in Super Bowl history, but the Saints' cornerback Tracy Porter picked what was the only turnover of the game, clinching the Super Bowl victory for the first time in the history of New Orleans Saints with the score of 31 - 17.

"I have to give a lot of credit to them," said Manning who is regarded as one of the best and classy quarterbacks in the NFL. The comeback from 10 points deficit in the first quarter, which happens to be the largest deficit to overcome in Super Bowl, seems only so fitting for what not only the team has gone through, but also the city have overcome last four years. This February, the biggest event of the city is not going to Mardi Gras; the party has already begun on Bourbon Street.
